Civil Forensic Evaluations are specialized cognitive and functional assessments conducted for legal matters. Evaluations can be performed in cases of an individual who has been subject to undue influence or financial exploitation. These cases can be both civil and criminal. Dr. Fox has provided expert testimony based on his evaluations in several felony elder abuse cases that resulted in convictions.
More frequently he has called upon to provide evaluations in decedent estates for evaluation of the individual’s capacity to  execute a will, trust, or power of attorney prior to their death. A specific area of these evaluations often includes opinions regarding the presence or absence of undue influence.
